EMS Chief auto transport

Short tip adapted from Wizz on the Mission Chief Board · a fuller GES guide will follow later

Put trained EMS Mobile Command crew on an EMS Chief, then turn on automatic hospital assign on that vehicle — the Chief covers the command requirement and can auto-transport patients.

Steps

Train two personnel in EMS Mobile Command at a Rescue / EMS academy (not Fire Command).
Assign both trained crew to the EMS Chief (works from fire stations or rescue/ambulance stations).
Open the EMS Chief vehicle edit and enable automatic transport / hospital assign.

Once that is set, the Chief counts toward the EMS Mobile Command need on missions and can send ambulances to hospital without you picking each patient by hand.

Common gotchas

There are two EMS Mobile Command courses — Fire Station and Rescue Station. For ambulance-station Chiefs you need the rescue one.
Training Fire Command (or putting EMS command on a Fire Command unit) does not unlock this.
To train ambulance-station personnel you need an EMS / Rescue academy. Each department uses its own academy.
You train station personnel as a group, then assign them to the Chief — you do not train the vehicle itself.
